Caring for cats and dogs requires a lot of love and attention, true. However, there are some rather mundane tasks involved in the process. One of these tasks focuses on helping these pets to groom themselves. Cats and dogs with long coats especially need help in keeping everything tangle free. At some times, a simple pet hair comb or brush will not do the trick.
They had read the great reports about the Coat-Kings on one of the Berner e-mail lists and picked the tool up at a show and they love it! Wow--what great tools!!! His name is Spuds and the change was more dramatic than pictures can show.

Do they do the same thing to a dog's coat? I have a Golden Retriever and have had both recommended to me, but so far nobody has been able to tell me whether there's a difference between what they do. I know that they're two different products. My question is what exactly they do differently.
Terriers are double coated. They have 2 types of hair that make up their coat; the dull colored softer undercoat, and the rich colored wire top coat. Hand stripping is removing the dead off the top coat by finger plucking or by a stripping knife.
