I really enjoyed the experience of the level 28 Prison Of Elders, but Bungie absolutely refuses to add matchmaking into the game. Would it be so hard to do the following? I wouldn't be surprised if the "Matchmaking Enabled" versions would be more populated than the "Matchmaking Disabled" versions. Was this discussion helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.

Bungie is adding matchmaking to Destiny's Weekly Heroic Strike missions as of the game's next update. There will be no change to the harder level Weekly Nightfall Strike or to either of the game's two raids, despite matchmaking for these activities being a frequent fan request. Destiny , an online shooter in which you travel the universe not getting Gjallarhorn, is getting another big patch soon, and some of the new tweaks are not going to be welcomed by longtime players. Despite the fact that hardcore players are hitting a wall , at least partly due to Bungie's insistence upon forcing everyone to play how Bungie wants them to play, Bungie is again enacting changes that will force everyone to play how Bungie wants them to play. Today's revelation: the weekly heroic strike will soon turn into a "matchmade" activity—in other words, players will be forced into matchmaking whenever they start it with a fireteam of less than three people. No more soloing or running the weekly heroic with a single other friend—you'll now be stuck in a team of three based on Destiny 's matchmaking algorithms, like you are whenever you try to run a regular-level strike.
While Bungie is still hard at work on one of the biggest patches for Destiny yet, they are slowly revealing the component parts of the upcoming update. We know the patch will fix the heavy ammo bug that has been plaguing high level players since launch, and it will also add a reputation panel to the menu , but the hope was that there is still more in the pipeline. Starting after update 1.
